Good News for Grizzly 600 Owners with 4wd Servo problems

So a while back I ask for someone to test the serviceable 5GH servo assembly on an older 600 Grizzly. PA Grizzly stepped and tested on his bike. I really appreciate that and by the way, it was a success!

This is good news for older model Grizzly and Kodiak owners!

This applies to 1998-01 Grizzly 600 and 2000-06 Kodiak 400. On these models, if you have problems with your 4wd servo, you will find that your case is sealed, meaning it has no screws to open it in half. It has to be cut open and re-glued to replace the electronic motor.

PA Grizzly found that the newer 5GH servos will bolt up and work perfectly on the older bikes and are even quieter than the older ones.

The newer 5GH's are serviceable units, that are able to be opened with a torx bit and the electronic motor can be easily replaced if ever need be. Below you can see pictures of both for comparison.

If you want to keep your sealed servo, the motor can still be replaced. I have a video on cutting it open and replacing it. However, the option is there for those wanting to upgrade to a serviceable unit.

We have the complete 5GH units available if anyone is in need of one. Let me know if I can help you. 501-658-0219
