Sneak Peak Kodiak 700 Base model "Grabber" Diff lock kit in action

Here is a sneak peak at our newest upcoming product.
The "Grabber" Diff lock kit for Base model and EPS Kodiak 700's.

We are pleased to announce our Grabber Diff locker kit for owners of the new Kodiak 700’s. We know that the base model and EPS Kodiak 700’s and the Grizzly’s/Kodiak SE’s come with a big price difference. One handy feature that the base and EPS models don’t come with is diff lock. For those of us who own or have owned ATV's with limited-slip front diffs, mud riding and rock climbing can be a major annoyance when challenging those with true “four-wheel drive”. Look no further. Now you can lock and unlock the front differential of your Kodiak 700 whenever you see fit.

Using the factory cable type system, the 501 Parts Locker kit converts your limited-slip differential to fully selectable full locked true 4wd so that your Kodiak can deliver full power and unbelievable traction at any time! You’ll have the choice of 2wd, 4wd or Diff lock with the flip of a lever. With a traditional limited-slip differential, frequently you get more of a 3wd pull. The installation of our locker can be done with basic hand tools and requires no welding, cutting, or other permanent modification of existing parts on your Kodiak. The kit comes with everything you need for the install. As always, we are here to help at any time with the install and we have a detailed video of us installing the locker for your reference.

The kit is complete, and we are looking at rolling it out on or before 20 Feb.

You can see the kit here.
http://www.501parts.com/product-cate...diff-lock-kit/

We made a video that shows how to install the kit. It's about an hour long with most of the time being taking our time and pulling the front diff out. If you have the diff out, it's a quick install of the kit.

Basically it shows the function of the lever, removing the diff, installing the new gear carrier, reinstalling the diff, and installing the cable and puller.

Let us know if you have any questions. Thanks!

Hey...oleblue22..Good job in the video. Looks to be a great option to get diff-lock on the Kodi.
Your lever seems easier to use than the stock lever. I see my Queen having a little trouble at times flipping the stock lever to 4wd.

Can we refer guys to this video showing how to pull out and install the axles?

Thanks!

I appreciate it reogem. Sure, I have no problem with that. It could be referred to to pull the axles, the diff, and take apart the diff if needed.
