I just got a 700R SE Raptor today and I cant get it to go into reverse. And I am steping on the rear brake. I know it works because when the guy delivered it he backed it off the trailer. WHAT am I doing wrong? Good greif is this thing fast. But I am still keeping my Grizzly 700 and my Warrior. Oh the guy I got the raptor from for got to bring the operators manual. So what am I doing wrong.
pull the clutch in, drop gear into first at the bottom, turn reverse knob, the gear shifter should then drop one more time while twisting reverse kbob., the R should light up.. to get out of reverse, just put it into first and pull up.
reverse is just below first, you have to twist the knob for it to get there.
i recomment looking into the 'dr.d' reverse lever, it moves the reverse lever from the twist knob unto a lever on the handle bars so you can go into reverse without taking your hands off the handlebars.

my 2008 raptor 700se was my first quad i bought ever... and now since i got my grizzly it sits in my garage collecting dust, but when I do take it out, i love it!
