Armor All Wheel Protectant

Today I bought a can of this 'magic rim protectant' to spary it on my new 14 212 as a ounce of prevention because I know what they will go through. The car guys swear by it. Suppose to last 4 weeks and repel everything from brake dust, water, grime, and MUD. Costs about 9 bucks a can but it could be a very useful product in the atv world. Ill let you guys know how it works.

Off subject- yesterday I was at my local friends shop and I saw something that looked harsh, but the results was awesome. He was selling a 660 grizzly in good running condition except for the plastics. Scratches and white. He took some 2000 grit sandpaper and wet sanded it with Armor All. After that he came over the spot with a light compound, but by hand. Finally finished it up with Sc-1. It looked brand new. If any of you guys got scratches, and the balls to try it, give it a whirl.

Lol yea just about, Its used manly for wet sand applications on car paint to get the swirl and buff marks out fresh paint. Experienced hands can use it on old paint to restore a show room shine. My buddy did it to plastic, but instead of water, he used Armor All, which further reduces the cut of the 2000 grit. Its a days work but man he made it look good

This armor all wheel protectant is awesome!! I saw test on you tube with honey, and mud and all that good stuff where they would just throw it on there rims, so I thought what the heck let me do it. So i grabbed a bucket, mixed it half full with water and got a shovel skimmed some dirt up and even put some dawn soap in there just to be weird, threw it on there and it just fell off completely. So i did the honey trick, got some honey and squeezed it on my rims, it freakin beads up, and this is honey!! Idk how long it will last but man this stuff impressed me!

Actually ArmorAll is the brand name and Wheel Protectant is the product, you can find it at your local Auto Zone or ad automotive place for around $9.

The Armor All Wheel Protectant worked for me. Put it on two different quads. Rode the "Wayne" all weekend and the wheels look great. Give it a try.

Have been using it for 6 months, doesn't work. Still have a dirt film on wheels that won't even come off with pressure washer. Need to wipe wheels by hand to get the alaska silt off so this stuff does nothing for me.

Try Protectant 303, available at marine stores. It does not come off in water like Armor All. It is also great for UV protection on Canoes and ATV's, and lasts much longer.
