hmm - Yamaha Grizzly ATV Forum
General Discussion Welcome to General Discussion. This is a general forum where we talk about anything that is NON-GRIZZLY related. Please post in the appropriate forum that relates (we have engine forums, tire forums, accessory forums...and all the others too) to your topic. This way when someone (including us) comes here to look for answers, it will be a lot easier to find info. If you are posting something in general that you cant find a forum for, then this is the place to put it. Thanks for helping us try to get the info organized.

I know a lot of guys were having trouble getting back into their accounts when they made us all change our passwords. I'm sure we lost several due to that. It has been slower around here lately. Some of that may have to do with the season.

It has been slow ever since they changed the website. Every forum I have been on the same thing happened when changes were made. I actually almost walked away myself.
I completely agree with the old saying: "if it ain't broke, don't fix it".

Deez...If you stopped posting many members would be SOL. You have such vast knowledge of the machines especially the carbed and pre 2000's. I for one look to your posts when I need info on 660. Sometimes it seems that you have the last known knowledge of the 1985-2000 machines.

The new look is only a look! The site seems to be better in some respects. Less clutter, easier picture posting, less prejudiced I can post a link to a great post on the Grizzly Rider site without using a bunch of tricks to fool the server programing.

I feel that the senior members move on because of many reasons.

Some are promoted to "mods" They are out there, but hardly ever post. I'm not sure, fraternizing maybe discouraged.?.

Others seem to be frustrated with newbie.

Some are 8.

Some move on to other brands or types of rigs or hobbies...power or SXS's
One guy I use to converse with closed his accounts on all the atv sites. He told me he was spending time with his daughter and racing his mustang. Sold his ATV. I copied some of his posts before they were deleted.

Others just fade away.

And some move onto "The Other Side"

This new version isn't as user friendly as v goose thinks.
For the last few days every time I click to see what's going on here something new happens.
I can see where guests may have trouble using this site.

Reogem thanks for the kind words. I am not walking away from this forum. I do really enjoy it and it's members like yourself.
While I sometimes dislike change, I also realize change is unavoidable in life. So I am choosing to be positive, accept the change and move on with it. I hope many other choose the same path.
