Gun collection is an appropriate term. There is legislation being pushed right now to have all gun owners state on thier 2009 federal tax return all guns owned and thier serial #'s. A prelude to a government gun collection!! Watchout thier coming to get them. You got "real change in America".

Yup thats the jist of it! I don't have any guns, there bad and can kill. I'ld rather take my chance with the drunk drivers and ignorant liberals. Oh hell I'm a dead man.

my Savage .17hmr is the sweeky-killinest thing this side of the mountain.(my pop's owns the other side)

Romainian AK-47, "new" Hi-Point 9mm carbine (with the new stock and forearm with the weaver rails all over it), Springfield Armory XD .45 4" service model (olive drab, with black slide), Taurus Millinium 9mm, Ruger Mk II Target (Standard 6" barrel, polished), Ruger MK VII 7mm mag, Rem. 597 .22 mag semi auto, all black.......and on and on.
Sadly, in these times, I had to sell them all.

No gun collection personally but still not sure I agree with the current administration's take on it.

As a young college student many years ago with a wife, baby and very limited budget, I felt no need nor had any desire to own a gun until someone tried to break into my home while we were there. That night I drove out to our farm and got a .22 rifle I had used growing up. I then bought a pistol and haven't been without one since.
Upon graduation, I then dealt with criminals for over thirty years and after seeing who is wandering around out there and speaking with their victims the idea of being unarmed is simply unacceptable to me.

Sometimes it takes far worse for someone to realize guns aren't "icky"
