Hi guys, I'm going to be installing my Amsteel winch line and was wondering how you were attaching the line to the drum, just tying a knot or what. any advice would be great.

When you pull your old cable out you will notice a tiny disc. You wrap the rope over the disc and back through the drum and the disc keeps the rope in place.
