started up over state game road 8 inches of snow grizzly destroyed the rincon both machines stock except for the fact my tires were a little better stock dunlop tires and my machine has a winch road bout 4 miles out and comming back we switched quads he ran away from me thought it was alittle to do with the eps on my grizzzly it was way easier to navigate the deep snow oh and by the way i also had my boy on with me he weights 90 lbs was i mpressed with the grizz vs honda
Honda does make a very good lawn mower engine though

I wont bash Honda atvs in the same way as u guys. I've owned a 300 Fourtrax and sold my 08 Foreman 500 for my 700 Grizz. Both hondas were great machines and never had a single problem. I honestly put both thru pure hell. Honda's issue is not keepin up with power levels and EFI. Last winter that carburated 500 wouldnt even consider crankin when my buds 700XX w/EFI fired right up. That was the beginnin of the end for the Honda! JUS MY 2 CENTS ANYWAY! MY GRIZZ FREAKIN ROCKS!!

yeah honda is very reliable i have a pressure washer with honda motor starts first pull every time and his rincon is a descent quad but glad i hav chosen the grizzly i bought a honda CR 250 new back in like 98 that sucker had all kinds of power but had to get rid of before i got hurt grew up with blaster 91 yellow and white loved that beat that thing to death this grizzly is like no other
You could of easily done this comparison with a 550 and you would of smoked him in all aspects.

my dad has a 01 rubicon 500 with the auto transmission. I really like it, steering is really easy. you can tell the power difference though. still gets to where it needs to go.
I have had a couple of the ES models of the hondas and do not like them at all. the newer 420ES was EFI and not too bad, but the 02 was a 450 and the ES has major problems. the angle sensor is probably one of the most purchased parts for all hondas. that piece of shit breaks a lot on a ton of those machines.
my grizzly 660 smoked about anything and everything. same with my 700. although I did have a 08 KingQuad 750 and holy crap that thing had some cajones. I was amazed at the power. would pop a wheelie in high all day long.
I really want to get on a canam 800. We had a couple 500 XT 2008 EFI models and what great machines. really nice ride, lots of power. not up to spec with the grizzly 550, but they can definitely hold their own. I am just afraid if I get on a canam 800 with power steering that I will want that instead of my grizz.
