Want to build receiver hitch for '03 grizz 660

Can someone please post a few photos of their 660 hitch. Has anyone tried to build one? I'm a better fabricator than engineer, a couple of good pics would give me head start on the job. I haven't been able to find one on the net, all are for the 700. Thanks.

Mine is pretty simple. Flat piece of steel with a 2" receiver tube cut through it, at a bit of an angle, welded on.

With the way it's placed on the bike I can slide that hitch tube all the way in to almost touch the battery or pull it out 18 inches to pull logs.

It also has a piece of steel under it for strength and a spot for my tow strap.

Cool! Those were great pictures. All I need is to find the actual receiver tube. Maybe a trip to the junk yard is in order.

Not sure where you are, but in Canada, princess auto has those tubes. I'm sure harbour freight has them if you're in the states.

all you need is a reciever hitch reducer fro 2 1/2" down to 2" to make your reciever out of because the reciever is only as strong as what its attached to. keep it as light as possible and the closer to the bike it is the better your bike will handle.
