Push pins body rivets plastic wigits

Not sure the Actual term, but I read on here that I needed 8mm. So I ordered them off of eBay and they are way too thick. I tried multiple locations. Hood, under lights...

What was in the fender is on the right. What I bought is on the left. Its hard to tell, but the "pin" diameter is considerably thicker.

I'm not sure if he sent me the wrong thing or if I ordered the wrong size. Here is what I ordered:

Mods. Please don't remove "non sponsor link" it is not a part that works, so it doesn't compete with anything.

I use Yamaha replacements....90269-07010-00....I bought them and changed all of mine to that size by drilling the smaller ones out to fit this size, a suggestion from WUN a while ago. This works well for me.

If you go to Home Depot, Lowes or Menards You can pick out the size that you need.

On the link problem. It seems that they frown on the entire link being displayed. I could be wrong.
If you edit the link so just a name that you decide appears I think it makes them happy.
This is a link to this page that will display the entire address.

URL="http://www.grizzlycentral.com/forum/newreply.php?do=postreply&t=37537"]http://www.grizzlycentral.com/forum/newreply.php?do=postreply&t=37537

it displays like this
http://www.grizzlycentral.com/forum/newreply.php?do=postreply&t=37537

If you remove the part between the second set of brackets (in orange)ands insert a name that you pick

URL="http://www.grizzlycentral.com/forum/newreply.php?do=postreply&t=37537"]link to post

it will display like this
link to post

After I posted this I realized that you post via phone. Might be had to do all that editing on a phone??

I switched to the Honda ones, they were bigger also so I drilled them out a little bit, much better than the stock ones IMO.

id rather not drill the holes out, unless i run out of other options. i scooped up a 50 count bag of 6mm clips from ebay. shipping from new york. hopefully ill get to try them by the end of the week. thanks guys.

it seems like a lot of people use the 8mm. i wonder if they changed for certain years.
