check your speed with a gps. thats the best way since you changed your tire size it will make your speedo off

Dude....yes. It's a Utility ATV, not a Raptor.
With the 28's on there, your lucky to get 62mph out of it.

hey chuff81, mine tops out at 58 also.. getting a dynatech FS an getting the powercommander tuned in perfectly when i get home.. i'll let you know if i get anymore top speed, but i dout it because of the 29.5's an the clutch kit on my bike.. im not really worried about speed, because the fastest i really ride is like 35-40.. an thats on straight trails..

My Grizzly went 98MPH....then I put my Big Horns on and now it goes 54???? WHAT THE HECK!

HAHAh

Just messing.....

I personally don't think with those tires you can go much faster or would be able to safely go much faster.

I own an 09 700 with 26 inch mudlites on factory steel rims, 2r tip and k&n filter.

I can slap 55mph pretty fast, then it climbs at a much slower rate. My rev limiter stopped me at 68mph.I made it to 55 in about 100-130yds. It then probably took another 200-250 yds to top out.
I tested mine on pavement and the temperature was around 50 degrees. Yes, I wore my helmet (I didn't wanna knock any holes in the pavement)

As long as you're getting into the fifties, I think you're fine IMO.

Brand New 550. Got 65 MPH on my second Ride. ( Just had to know!
Those 26" Bighorns I ordered yesterday will probably slow her down a bit.... I can live with that. My old bike would only run about 40 and it sounded like it was gonna come apart there. Now even with the bigger tires, I will still be
able to "cruise" at 40!

Good choice I favor the 2.0 over my XTRs, way better ride and handle.
My best description of the 2.0 is great traction and rides like a marshmellow.

With 27" zillas, ive hit 67 mph, but that was going down a small hill.

Just tested it today, 66 on the gps, ran out of room, think i could have squeezed a little more if i had more run up to the hill.

You said you were getting 72 out of a can am 800? Seems a little low, alot of guys ive talk to get 75-78 out of stock outty 800s, do you have the max? I know the max is just a little slower.
