Starter Override Doesn't Work

Hello...I'm having trouble with the Start Override. When I pull the left brake lever, nothing happens. What components are invovled in making the Override work. Have there been problems with this before?

Thanks

Check the connections at the brake lite switch on the left handle bar. Could also be bad switch. Does the brake lite come on when using the left lever? Does it start when using the foot brake?

Sorry it took so long to reply. Holidays. Tried the Grizz this morning. No brake light with lever or foot brake. No start with lever, but would start with foot brake. After trying the foot brake, then the lever would start. Still no brake light. Most of the time the machine won't start in gear. Every once in a while it will. Is this a bad switch at the left brake lever?

It's most likely the switch, I had the same problem. I took it off, cleaned it up, cleaned up the connections and put dielectric grease in them. Haven't had any issues since. Took all of 5 minutes.
