Its working perfectly.
looks good. i like how you squeezed it between the bumper uprights.

in our style of riding(group), we need to retain the high beam option. when you are following someone, these led lights would blind someone in front of you(with a mirror), so its nice to have stock high beam available. otherwise you are using low beams the whole time. stock highs give you a bit more vision without blidning the guy in front of you. i made a switch for mine that switches between high and LED high. but my friends dont want to do that much work, and wont have 16" of led lighting(only 6), so they will have a toggle that supplements the highs with the led. a 6" light is the equivilent of adding 50% more amperage. well within the stators ability imo.

just an explanation on why your setup might not work for others is all....

I originally wired my 126w LED directly. Then I went hunting one day and when I got back to my bike (in the dark) I could see the LED flickering faintly. Sick feeling followed.
Seems it got turned on sometime around high noon when I left and I never noticed it in bright sunlight.

But about a 3 hour walk back to base camp convinced me that the thing needs to be either wired after the switch or be turned on by a relay after the switch.

I put a 10 amp in line fuse on positive side wouldn't risk blowing one of these expensive light bars up. I love the light bar overall, but on first big ride to windrock the bolts holding lights fell off, because I didn't use nylock nuts on them, that's why the duct tape is there.

Soooo, which ignition wire is the one I should tie into when adding my light bars? The blue with black stripe, or the blue with white stripe? Both are hot wth the key on so idk if there is a difference or not... I've got the relay, in line fuse, and am just going to use the yellow high beam wire as my on/off switch, but I wanted it to be off for sure when the key is off.

Both wires are hot because you have the key on so power is going through the switch. You need to turn the to the OFF position and check the wires. One will be hot and the other dead. Connnect the light relay switch to the dead wire. This way you will only be able to turn your lights on with you key in the ON positon and hopefully with the engine running. I would highly recommend running your power to the lights directly from the battery through a relay and have the relay energized from the ignition wire through the switch.

Another option is to connect your relay control to the high beam wire to the lights so they will automatically come on when you switch your high beams on. This way there is no need for the extra light switch.

2013 Grizzly 700 EPS, trying to wire up my Osram 12" 72 watt LED light bar

I know that the wire that powers the headlights is yellow (high beams right?) I found the two wires that go to each side. Can I just tap into one of those and power my LED light bar?

I'm going to run a separate switch, so I can turn the high beams on without the LED.

Thanks

in thaqt configuration you should use a relay. but the relay "signal" can come from just one high beam wire. that wire can feed the switch which feeds the relay, which turns the light bar on/off. this will make your switch turn the leds on only in the high postion...

alternatively, you could put in a dpst relay... and then the switch would switch between led and high beams, so at no point will you be drawing more than 72w.

it depends... how big of a light bar is it? and will you be eliminating the stock high beams?

basically, it is a question of not overloading the circuit. the wires and switch was designed to handle 2x 35w bulbs. the only way i would recommend doing it, and this is what i did on my dad's machine... is to cut both of the wires going to the stock high beams, and tie BOTH of them into the led + wire. and the led light shouldnt be more than 70ish watts.

if you want to keep the stock lights, or you have a light bar bigger than 72w, youd want a relay. and then you could tie that in wherever you want.
