My light bar is a 12 inch 72 watt one. My headlight are led but only have one brightness. High beam and low beam the headlights dont change which was why i wanted to have the light bar come on with the high beam switch..i dont mind my headlights being on the same time as the lightbar as long as it isnt too much draw...

it wouldnt be too much draw, however, with those led bulbs that dont change on high vs low, there is a potential that they backfeed the high beam wire when in low. so basically, your led bar would be on in both low and high. depends on the bulb. only one way to find out wire it up and see if it stays on in low. if it does, just clip the wires going to the high beams.

you will probably good. it sounds weird, but i would personally tap into both the left and the right side. reason being, is each wire was rated for 35w. your led bulbs are pulling something like 7 watts. you are now going to put a 72w bar on there. if you only tie into one you are going to be trying to pull 79w through 1 wire that is designed to handle 35w. if you tie the 2 together with a piece of 14/16g wire, youll be much better off.

all this said... if it were me? id run a relay harness. they are only 8 bucks for an entire harness. and it will give you piece of mind.

That's what I'd like to do. That way I have low beams (Factory headlights w/ aftermarket LED bulbs, then when I switch to high I get low + light bar. Your link to the pictures is broken. I don't understand how you still have "low" beams if you bridged the low & high beam lights??

not sure who you are responding to, or what link you are talking about, but explain what you have now, and what you want, and we can sort you out.

you have led's in the factory positon, right? are they the same in both high and low? aka.. the beam doesnt change?
