Micro-Start PPS, check this out.

A full ad is in October issue of Dirt Wheels on page 11, or you can view there website, Antigravity Batteries. It is a small mini sized jump starter to start atvs, motorcycles, and even v-8 trucks. It looks like a must have item for people that venture far from home or camp. Also capable of charging cell phones and other electronics. What do you guys think ?

Just saw their ad in the Nov. dirtwheels and was wondering if anybody has tried one too? Kind of debating on this one as it can be taken along for many other trips. Thanks Ron

I have one, didn't get to try it on a dead battery, but did use it to charge my laptop and it worked perfect. It's a piece of mind thing, don't really want to use it, but it's there if you need it. It's a nice set and very compact. Maybe I can tell the guys at work to leave their lights on so I can try it. LOL

They work great for charging and jump starting. I got mine off Amazon and put it in a Pelican case in back.

You have to charge the unite like a regular jumper.

Edit- I just read the description on Rocky Mountain as I place my order.

Buddy of mine has a similar model and he jump started a Diesel truck with it (not in the cold weather).
