Griz700 coughs and gags

During the past few weeks I have noticed my 2007 Griz700 cough and gag while traveling along about 20 mph. The Griz will be going along fine then all of a sudden it will act as if it is using downhill engine breaking, and I will
see the red reverse lt on the pod light up. This is all intermittent but annoying. Do any
of you think this might be a linkage problem.

cant hurt to try. I was able to adjust mine easilly when my L did not light up when in Low... take the side panel off and you can sneak wrenches in there to adjust it.

Could be linkage but is more likely to be the reverse sensor. Fairly common problem.

Yep its the reverse sensor. I just got off the phone with the dealer. Evidently there was a recall on that part about a year ago. They are going to fix it, and adjust the linkage at the same time.

I took the Griz down this morning and the mechanic replaced the reverse sensor in about 30 minutes or less. They had a tech
tip (bulletin) that this could be a problem with a number of Griz700's and the reverse sensor should be replace with an update one. Griz700 has never had a recall.
