differential oil question

I recently changed the diff oil in the front and rear of the Grizz and replaced it with Mobil 1 synthetic gear oil. Seems to run fine and have had no issues.
I was out playing in the snow the other day and noticed it was "freewheeling" quite a bit. Granted, the snow is pretty deep and I was pushing quite a bit and I assume that "freewheeling" is pretty normal. When the diff was locked, it went like there wasn't even any snow.

I guess my question is, Is it normal to have one front wheel spinning and the other not when just in 4x4 if you're in deep mud or snow? I'm probably worried too much about it and it's normal, but I love that thing lol

Yes that is normal, the front right wheel pulls most of the time if you want all four, have to use the dif. lock then it will pull im sure.
