05 Grizz 660 engine noise

Hey guys, I'm new to this site but it looks like a great one!
I have an 05 grizzly 660 that started to have a problem with coolant getting into the crankcase. I tore it down expecting to find a head gasket problem, but instead found a bad mechanical seal on the water pump. I replaced it and all the gaskets and put it all back together. Now I have a noise in the engine. I know the timing is right, I've checked the valve clearances, eliminated any rattles from heat shields etc, but I still can't find the noise. It really sounds like a valve clearance noise but they're set properly. Any ideas???

I'd pull the belt and clutch off and start it up and check for the noise. Sometimes the clutch can make unusual noises for a while after you reassemble them.
