2001 Yamaha Grizzly 600 - newbie question

I promise I looked in the manual, but don't find where the "oil filler port" is. Where do I add oil to an 2001 600 Grizzly?

I search the 'net too. I am sure it is so obvious, but in a dark garage it is not :(

I have an 01; my oil filter sits on the crank side of the machine. Remove the cover to expose the engine. Right behind the crank you should see a small cover with 3 screws; the filter is under that; make sure you don't loose the o ring when you change it. The filler tube or 'port' is just above that towards the gas tank. You should see a sight glass that shows you the level; mine was dirty when I first changed the oil so you might want to wipe off that side of the engine if you don't see the sight glass. Good luck!

Thanks, I haven't looked yet, but it sounds like you both gave me directions to where I check the oil. I already know where that is.

I am looking for where the location of where the oil can be added! (told you it was a newbie question).
