Hey just out doin an oil change on the grizz and saw this vent line sticking out the bottom of my skid plates, I followed it back to the engine, since my grizz is snorkeled I thought this could be a problem since I ran all my vent lines up high and missed this one. It is located right by the dip stick.
:deal:That is the weep line for the water pump seal. Do not plug it up. Do not run the outlet end higher than the water pump except on a temporary basis (when mudding) because if the water pump seal leaks (common after overheating) the coolant can/will go into the crankcase.
Basically when your water pump goes out it will leak out that hose to let you know it's not working.
