Seems that where I look for info on clutch kits and prices list 26" tires as a stock size and 27-28s as large tires ........... so my ? is I have 26 xtr's and ride in elevations above 1700' so do I get stock size tires or large . I just want a little better bottom end jump , top end is not important. Thanx oh yeah any recommendations would help . would like to stay a bit cheaper .

I am running 1 700 roller weight and 1 450 kodiak weight in each arm of the clutch .

Wow, I can't beleive you want more after the 4 kodiak weights. Tried them in mine with 25s, big increase in power to the ground, but reved a little much for my taste.

At this point I would replace your 700 weights with 4 660s, this should give just a little more. As for a hard jump from a stop, IDK if there's anything you can do for that. Unless an actual clutch kit helps this. I think the start from a dead stop is all in the wet clutch. JMO

hmmm maybe should just leave it alone then as I did notice better response with the Kodiak weights maybe that is all I will get without spending big bucks . Thanx
