I normally bring my quads to a service shop for oil changes but thought of doing the oil change myself this time around.
I misplaced my manuals, tried doing a search but couldn't find the answer i was looking for so hope you guys would be so kind to provide some assistance to a newb.
I'm a light rider. Nothing crazy at all. Mostly in spring and fall for hunting, to and from the tree stands, in a NY climate. Other than that they mostly sit idle in my garage.
Trying to choose an oil to use. My questions are:
1) i was reading that grizzlys have a wet clutch? do they all? do mine? if so would Yamalube all purpose 4 stroke Oil 10w40 be ok to use? it says on the bottle Jaso MA Rated. Is that ok for my application??
Be sure to go to your local dealer and get a new crush washer that goes on with your drain plug. These should be replaced with every oil change. If you ever decide to change the differential fluid, it's the same washer and also needs to be replaced with every fluid change.
