This is a discussion on Rhino ring and pinion? within the Grizzly Engine & Transmission forums, part of the Grizzly Forums category; I have searched both here and the web and have found very little info about the gear ratio in the grizzly and the rhino.
I have searched both here and the web and have found very little info about the gear ratio in the grizzly and the rhino.
From what I understand is that the rhino has a different gear ratio then the grizzly, lower geared. I have read that some people have put grizzly gears in a rhino to gain more speed suggesting both that it is true that they have different ratios, and that the parts are interchangeable. If that is right then it should be possible to put rhino gears in a grizz to get lower gearing to compensate for taller and heavier tires.
Has anyone here tried this or does anyone have any more info about the gear ratios of either a rhino or grizz?
