Replacement of CV joint?

I'm running a 2000 grizzly 600. I had the CV joint pop out on my front left side. I took it apart and put it back it but I think I need to replace the gear on the end of my drive shaft and the boot/ cup that it fits into. Sorry the terminology might not be right. How hard is it to do and are there any tricks. Also are there after market parts, ones that are cheaper and or higher quality. Also is there a good after market manual for this quad. Thanks John
