Alright, we've been hearing the ups and downs of the Dobecks. We got people selling their exhausts and controllers left and right because of various reasons. Some people seem to be having hard times dialing in the mid range miss with the Dobeck setups.
I know the Power Commander is much more adjustable. You can add fuel or take it away at throughout the rpm range. Has anybody tried one yet? Or do you have one on order?
I plan on getting one and also running an O2 Sensor and Air/Fuel meter at some point. Test it with different exhaust/airbox setups.
Was just wondering if anybody else was thinking the same thing...

I'm not running an exhaust but I have about a 100miles on my dobeck and have had zero misses. Properly dialed in these things are great.

I have the Power Commander on mine, and it runs great, but no major difference. I have a completely stock bike aside from the PC though, and I believe that the PC is supposed to really shine once you have a different filter/pipe on it, then tune it in.
Yes, it is COMPLETELY configurable. Software is included, as well as a USB cable, and you can plug your laptop directly into your Grizz and re-work your fuel maps, or upload maps to your Grizz that other people have posted/shared on the internet. If you find another guy that has your same setup, and shares his map that came off the Dyno, then you may have a pretty solid free tune-up that 99% matches your own bike.
The PC for the Grizz 700 comes pre-loaded for a stock bike setup, unless you request otherwise. They will pre-load it with a map that may work better for your filter/pipe if you request it when you buy it.
Sorry I can't give specific results from my bike, yet, but hopefully there's something useful in my post. Someone else please post their results from using the PC with other upgrades, I need a little push to get mine!

saucie grizz on highlifter has one on her grizz and it is dyno tuned. You may want to jump on there and ask her how she likes it.

I think I have the Optimizer settings licked. I am getting stronger pulls throughout the powerband now. There still is a pop at about half throttle, slightly less, but not fallowed by a loss of HP. So things are looking up. I am going to do some more tuning yet. The plus is things are going good.

ive used two maps so far the one for the stock air box and stock pipe, runs great and as i posted before the stock box and gytr pipe runs great, also ive got an extra stock tip that i cut just inside the tip and you can run the map for the gytr and stock air box with that set up. although ive been in deep water with no spark arrestor and when changing pipes a nice little rock rolled out of the inlet to the gytr pipe. does anyone know of an aftermarket air filter yet ive done the redneck k and n. dont like the seal around the edges though im using home door weatherstriping. one added note i ride below 2000 feet.

Twin Air has a filter out--I just ordered one on Monday....I'm not sure how much more Air the TA will flow vs stock but I know it's a much higher quality filter 1-800-749-2890 is the # they emailed me from Twin Air....the model # is 152912... I'd prefer a K&N but I don't really want a redneck version. I should say that I ordered mine locally not from TA direct.....
