i have a 05 grizz 660. i noticed a hose was not connected to anything. it is
close to the bottom of the carb and there looks like it goes on the bottom of it but i want to make sure first... it comes up from between the coolant resevoir and the pull start. its also a small diameter and seems to be to short to attach to the carb. thx

It could be the carb flout bowl drain hose. There should be a 1/2 inch of molded down pointing drain thing on the bottom of the float bowl.

48 and 49 should be on the end of the hose if that is the hose im talking about.

If that is the hose, you can always open the carb drain bolt(just turn it out a few turns, don't actually take it out), and watch to see where the gas runs out from. That will tell you where it belongs.
