I bought this bike a couple weeks ago and when I got it home and checked the oil it was nearly a quart low. I added some 5w30 motor oil and rode for about 2 hours and it was low again. Fill it back up and rode and the same thing happened. It doesn't seem to be smoking much but the oil has to be going somewhere. The guy I bought it from claims he's never had a problem with it burning oil but it was low when I got it. What could be the problem.

Would you try to get your money back if you were me?

Did you use regular motor oil or ATV oil, there is a difference. As for trying to bring it back to the guy, I would say when you buy a used product from someone that it is up to you to make sure that everything is ok with it.

I just used regular engine oil. Where can I get some atv oil? Does autozone sell anything I could use. I don't have a dealer close by.

The oil needs to say wet clutch compatible. I don't think it would cause you to use oil, but it would cause your clutch to slip.
