I set my valves today @ .009mm intake, .016mm exhaust but now I have alot of valve ticking. I found that they were real tight before I set them, but the engine was quite(except for the exhuast heat sheild) before. The grizz works really well now, but the noise concerns me. I will recheck them in the morning to be sure they're in spec. It's an '07 700. Any advice? Thanks

How many miles you have on your grizz? I checked mine at about 200 miles then again at 500 miles and the were in spec both times. They were actually slightly looser the second time, But still in specs. Like you say maybe check them again and see if you are still there. Did you use the special tool to adjusrt them or did you just use a couple of wrench's. I thought about buying that tool when its time to adjust mine.

You got them wrong ....
This is what the manual said:
<div align="left">Valve clearance (cold)</div>
<div align="left">Intake valve</div>
<div align="left">0.09 ~ 0.13 mm</div>
<div align="left">(0.0035 ~ 0.0051 in)</div>
<div align="left">Exhaust valve</div>
<div align="left">0.16 ~ 0.20 mm</div>
(0.0063 ~ 0.0079 in)

Your right, I copied them down wrong by one decimal point and when I went to the shop to do them, I thought the dimensions must have been in thousands of inches, so set them that way. Reset them and all is good. Thanks!
