Cool Neturat Switch didn't work. Now what to try next

My second day on G C put the new Netural Switch Assy in Grizz - 07 - 700 part # 3B4-82540-00-00 $50 bucks later still have the same problem the reverse light comes on and she spits and sputters light goes out runs fine what gives. A little lost . Checked the wires in the swith assy with a ohms meter they seam to be ok.

I would just bypass the neutral switch first to see if that corrects the problem. Basically all you are doing is taking the wire to ground. If that takes care of the issue, then you know it's still the switch. If that doesn't take care of the issue, then you'll need to look at the shift linkage or another area.

Well I'm A Newbie to G C don't know my way around yet or where to look for info still learning its only day three I have bypassed the switch today need to ride this weekend to see if I got it fixed flipper told me how to do it so I want to say thanks to him for helpling me out the light went out she seams to be running fine. know spitting or sputtering. its time to stretch her legs and let her run in the mud and climb hills

Are you saying the the new switch is faulty? Did you install the new switch with the specified "new" gasket/washer?

Well sence I posted this I found out from you guys on G C. There are two netural switches assy in the Grizz. PART# 8 #3B4-82540-00-00 and part#6 #3GB-82540-01-00 Didn't know that when I bought part # 8 the switch I replaced was ok. The one that is bad part #6 I bypassed it seams to run better now no spiting or sputtering running strong thanks to you guys on G C. Im back on the trail. Thanks agine for all your help.

Yeah. Part #6 3GB-82540-01-00 is the one that goes out. That is the updated part # though. Haven't heard of any problems with the other one. Glad your up and running.
