I have seen a few pics of holes cut in plastic lined with some type of trim, does anyone know what they used

I have a 06 Kodiak and i'm cutting a hole in my tank cover for the snorkel

I've seen that push on trim but I don't know what it is called.

Weather stripping would work. Im sure the auto parts store sells some kind of trim that will make a clean looking finish...

I never thought about it, but this is a awesome idea! I hate how the plastic around my tank look all cut up/ the plastic at the cut is white(ish) looking.

You know what works great is the grommets from small 2" marker lights ( trailers)- I don't have my quad snorkeled but my buddy does-they work great!

You can also get grommets in a variety of sizes and shapes, just go to the local auto parts store or trailer parts store.

If you go to an electrical wholesaler. They will have 2" electrical gromets. Which work great. And since a electrical 2" hole saw for 2" conduit is slightly bigger that 2" abs, you can use the gromet, and it will be a nice fit with the OD of ABS (same as ridgid pvc)
