Changing the stock fan for a Spal model. Looking at the manual it appears to be a major job to change out the fan. Most of the front end has to be removed to gain access.
Anyone found any shortcuts or tips to make it easier??
Not much for short cuts but make sure your spal fan is very thin if you plan to center it on the rad the grizz fan is offset to the right I put a 9" derale 475cfm back in the stock location and it just fit by a blonde one !! very tight if memory serves me right I like u have just under 2" if u plan on centering the fan.I thought about spacing the rad back but time was not on my side so went with the 9" derale instead
