I will have a new Grizzly coming in October. Now forgive me for asking, but is there a number (serial No. somewhere?) that confirms which model year it is?
I ask as I don't know my new local dealer and I want to make sure I get a 2011, and not a 2009 that he's transferred from another dealer, or 'dusted off' out the back.
Just so you don't think Im being over-picky...I noticed a tread talking about retail price. Well in Holland they have a 'luxury tax' on cars/motor bikes, so I'll be paying 14,000 Euro...or (get this) $17,844 for a green Grizzly 700 EPS +FI ....DOH!
So as you can imagine, I want to make sure its right!

Yes, there is a VIN stamped on the frame somewhere. Usually just below and forward of the engine. I don't remember which side. Digits 10 is the year of the atv.

Reason: Corrected information.
Actually, the 10th digit (number or letter) of the VIN number is the year of the ATV. You can use the chart below to determine the year. A 2011 model would be the letter "B".

Helmut, I see where you got that online, looks like my DMV bum doped me when I was registering it. I thought I had an 04 and they showed me the 02 in the VIN was the year. Thanks for the correction. I corrected my earlier post so I would not bum dope anyone else.
