Was riding the other day, we went through a lot of standing water. It was warm and i was soaked anyway due to rain so i blew through some of those big puddles at speed. I just noticed the side cover that covers the engine oil dipstick is gone. I am thinking i must have went through too much water too fast and the water pushed the cover off. Anyone ever have this happen?
You can drill small hole thru plastc in gorner and tie large fishing line or small cable or zip tie to hold it to other side cover and just put back on when you see it off. Tie it like a tether strap. Thats what i had to do to cap on overflow tank and dipstick too.
