Cool Make stock exhaust sound Deeper?

This may be stupid but im not satisfied with the stock exhaust sound. I want a deeper richer sound. If you understand what im asking id like to know how to do this WITHOUT BUYING anything new(i do have old parts i can use tho).

Spend 30 bucks on a decent tip, so it sounds good, and it wont be all hacked up, possibly sounding terrible?

X2 - some of them even let you put the stock arrester back in - mine didn't change the sound

2R Tip...... hacking up your muffler just might cost a whole lot more and not even look good.

Add a tip, changed the sound instantly on mine! Fairly cheap and easy mod... Lol I ride with my big tip, then pull it off in deer season and put the stock one back on for a stealth approach hahaha :P

What about drilling the baffles in the stock muffler? I understand that will give it a deeper tone.

Personally I wouldnt be hacking a stock muffler apart just for sound, if your going to go to that trouble buy a slip on pipe... Just MO, You'll get the same gain with the tip for about $40 and a lot less work!

Oops just read my post. The tip made a big sound improvement! the "new" sound did not change by adding the stock arrester.

2R Tip is well made good looking billet and gives you a deeper sound which seems nicer to me if not a little quieter.

I would stay away from cheap ass imitations, they seem to melt plastic.
