Have you tried to "blip" the throttle after putting it in 4wd?
I know I have to nearly every time.
Regards to 4 wheel diff lock, is the 4x4 flashing?
If so why do u think the diff is not engaged?

 

i would check for a broken cv joint

 

It's not a broken cv. Checked already, the diff lock icon comes on when button is switched to diff lock and the red light flashes, but in diff lock with the bike up on stands when I spin one front when by hand the other side turns opposite direction, so not diff lock, only regular 4wd. In normal 4wd position, only back tires spin.

 

To be in diff lock the diff lock light must be solid ( not flashing ) if its flashing your not locked in thus your not in diff lock .

 

ok, got it figured out, I pulled the diff out and once I could look strait in on the actuator fork, its bent to where it is about a 1/4 inch off strait, this causes the actuator to not cycle the collar all the way into position.

I straitened the fork and its 100%

What would cause this to bend? Maybe others can avoid doing whatever it takes to bend this.
