Will the 2017s address the 2016 issues?

1. Hot left leg
2. Cold start problems
3. Lean condition so entire bike really hot
4. Horrible fit/finish of rear storage compartment
5. Hot front storage compartment
6. Pushing in turns

Any other issues for the list?
Does Yamaha typically fix things after the first model year, or wait years to rectify based on liability issues?

I would predict they will address some of that. I think your on your own on the lean issue. Yamaha wouldn't be putting them out that way if they didn't have to IMO. The rear storage compartment seems like a fairly easy fix. The 15 sportsman I just sold had a nice rear storage compartment. The machine was dirty when I got it but the rear storage showed no signs of dust inside. If popo can get that right, surely Yamaha can.

I dont believe that enough have complained. Yamaha probably isn't aware of these "issues".

The 2017s have already been released. no changes whatsoever except they have a White Version this year. I'm just wondering if they're going to fix the problems with last year's when they start the next year's production run. the 2017s are supposed to be on the showroom floors in August.

To answer your question ..... no ... no they won't. As what you see as problems I am sure they dont.

As a long time stock holder of yamaha I feel as though I should have sold a few years back. Stocks are down considerably in 2016 and I am not shocked. No sign of a rebound but I am still up as I bought in 2003

2016 Wolverine R Spec EPS, Custom satin black, Grabber Green Cage, 32inch led bar, Dual Cube back up light, LED H4 headlight bulbs, 27" BigHorn OGs on ITP 212s, Terra45 SuperWinch, Roof Mount Stereo w/Bluetooth, Machined primary, 18 gram weights, gold secondary

SOLD****2013 Grizzly 700 Camo - loved this machine but wanted a side by side

Yamaha motors Corp. Across the board. But when you get your summery (very vague) boats, water craft, atv, utv and small engine devices are down. Boat motors and sport bikes seam to be the main pull and dirt bikes doing well as well ...

Cold start/lean running appears to be adjustable from other posts.
Hot storage... It above the engine!
Rear box... It is what it is. Put another bungee on it if it doesn't hold.
Pushing in turns - subjective. I think good tires address this, which should be replaced before your first ride.
Hot left leg might be addressed by adjusting the air/fuel mixture.

Below are issues that need to be fixed:

Maybe in big convoys like that someone should bring a fire extinguisher.

Especially good to have on board a RZR.....with the numerous fire related recalls. On the 1000 models they recently released a recall for the already recalled. Apparently the new CDI that was installed in the first recall was found prone to melt and cause a fire as well. I have 3 friends with 1000 RZR's waiting now for 4 weeks to get the new parts for the new recall. Since they are now in the system, they can't ride their machines because if something happens and the machine catches fire, Polaris is off the hook. Additionally, insurance companies know about it now and they will not cover the machine for fire if caused by the old parts. Dire situation to be in.

2003 Grizzly 660
30" s/w Maxxis Zilla's on Vision wheels (summer tires)
27" s/w Titan 589 on stock wheels (winter tires)
2.0 mm Primary Shim
Dalton Metallic Red Secondary Spring
High Strength Axles
Warn 2500 lbs winch
Grizzly 700 cam plate (no performance improvement, just better non-wearing slide design)

To my post above, I am not pooping on Polaris for being late with parts for recalls. Yamaha has been just as bad for parts availability in recent years. It's a dire situation for anyone to be in when you buy a new machine, your making your payments and can't ride it for weeks or months due to parts unavailable. That is unacceptable in my opinion and I have a huge problem with that.

Agreed with all. Ours set at the dealer waiting on parts for two weeks on the first 4 recalls but mine and a friends were #'s 1 and 2 on the repair schedule when parts came in. Then I get a recall notice on the recall that was JUST DONE!! I took ours in last Monday and picked it up the next day. I guess we were lucky on our down time. The good news is Popo has authorized dealers to pick up and deliver machines for the recall on the recall.
RZR Recall Info 4/19/16
Even if a member has one with the seal from the first recall, I would still make arrangements to get it to the dealer. They applied a sticker showing they took care of the 5th recall. I would sure want a record of that for (like you mentioned) insurance and manufacturer reasons.
