Griz's new companion showed up!

Finally got a chance to make the 3 hr drive to pick up the new Wolverine yesterday. It wasn't without an adventure though. My Dad went along with me to pick it up. He drives an 18-wheeler most days and was in the area delivering a load so I talked him into taking a break and going along to get the new ride. We left on what was supposed to be about a 4 hr adventure that turned into 7 hrs by the time we got back to his truck. Mother Nature decided not to cooperate as she provided intense thunderstorms, lightning, and poor visibility for hours. My Dad had equally poor driving conditions after I got him back to his truck.

At the end of the day, I'm very excited to be able to take a passenger safely with me when I ride. I got a killer deal on this 2016 R-Spec EPS and I hope to have it around for quite a few years. I won't be giving up the Griz as that's still my favorite.

Now let the mods begin to shred the wallet! I may need some help from you guys (I know that won't be a problem!) as the Wolverine forum is a bit slow compared to GC.

Paid $9,650 for it! Plus 48 mo. Y.E.S. warranty for $600 on top of that price. They were SO much cheaper than anywhere else in my area. Advertised prices at the other dealers were "fake news" in that they were charging $750 freight, $450 set-up, $250 doc fee, etc.... that wasn't included in their advertised price. These guys didn't charge any of those fees on this one. They really wanted to move it as it was the only Wolvie that they have had. There are simply no trails within a couple hours or more from this dealer and they sell lots of agricultural units.

Had an agreed price of $10K over the phone and then I showed up to get it and both floorboards are cracked (common issue on early '16 models and covered by Yamaha). I drove 3 hrs to get it and I wasn't too happy about having to get something fixed before I even ride it. I was very pleased by their willingness to discount a little more. After driving so far, I think they could have assumed I was taking it anyway. I'll get it fixed at the break-in service.

Garage
MNDirtRider- Congrats on the new toy, money well worth spending if you can get the family involved. Best of both worlds, Grizz for you to go blast and a family rig to boot. The wife will have a better understanding of why you do it and the kids will love it, future OHVers, can't beat that. Great way to bond. Just hang on to your wallet for the Mod game, lol. Congrats!
