I have a few 05 grizzly 660's. Does anyone know where I can get the clips that hold the rear axles in without ordering the whole boot kit? I have tried the grizzly clips and wasn't impressed. I would like to stick with the stock clips or the supposed new improved clip. I have seen a clip mentioned before SKM-2536e-10 but haven't been able to locate them.
I tried to find just the clips a year or two ago. No luck. You have to break down and buy a boot kit. You will need one eventually. Mine sat for about 4 months and then I tore a boot. It'll get used eventually.

I'm not sure but I did find in the 08 schematics that you can get the clip individually. I'm not sure if it is the correct size; but I will hopefully find out today. The part number posted on a different thread had the wrong first digit. It should have been a 5 instead of an S. Correct part number is 5KM-2536e-10.
I had to buy a boot kit from my dealer to get the first clip I needed, that was in 2006. I went back to my dealer in 2008 for another and I am positive I bought JUST the clip. It was me who posted that part # on here. Sorry I got a # wrong- a 5 looks like and S when I tried to read my old handwriting.
I bought the clip from performance yamaha in wasilla. I never talked to them about a 08 clip, I was talking to a parts clerk about 660 circlips and having to buy a boot to get it and he said they make them seperate now so I bought 4 or 5. That's what I remember. I still have 4 or 5 ruined ones in a parts box so I know I didn't buy 5 boots. all year 660 axle circlips are the same. I don't know if the 700s are the same as 660.
Might want to give them a call.
