Angry Which tires to get...frustrated shopper

Ok I don't know what to do...I never thought that shopping for ATV tires would be such a pain in the$$.<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />

Between all this sudden Pit bull tire talk, and all the Carlisle ACT crap I've researched, I am again leaning toward the proven (with many reviews) Maxxis BH 2.0's.

All I want is a set of general trail tires with some mud/rock capabilities; however, I mainly want a set of tires for more stability and reliability over the stock (Dunlop tires)

WTF?

THE EVEL ONE

Dude I'm sayin' the Bighorns are what you need. I'm running Zillas on my Grizz and they are good too. Maxxis makes a good tough and light tire. The emphases on light as it won't rob as much performance should you decide to go w/an increase in height.

Zillas are a good all purpose tire. Rock, snow, and light mud. Maxxis BH, not sure but hear great reviews either way can't go wrong.

I looked and read reviews for almost two years, (the wife wouldn't let me replace tires till I wore out the stockers)..... I was seconds from ordering the BH's. Ended up ordering the Pitbull Rockers in 26.5, (wrote two names on a piece of paper and let my dog choose!!). New product in Canada so I don't get them till March..... Gives me just enough time to really worry if my dog made a good choice!!! LOL!!!

Ohhh Ron thats funny Pal!
Heck If some one told me I would have to ware out the stockers first it would've only taken a week!
Pit Bull are a great addition to the ATV Tire Market, I'm looking foreward to hearing great things about there trail life ware. In due time they may reach the point of becoming the next top dog, until then word of mouth is there best ad.
With that said, you might want to keep it on the low that your dog made this choice.

My preference was the Bighorn Originals, but I am not concerned with weight. I just wanted a good, puncture resistant tire for trails and some snow. So far I have been happy with my choice, but I might like something else if I tried them; really don't think you can go with any of those mentioned.

I use to wear the stockers out before buying new and intended to do it with the Grizzly until I put a set on my 3 year old Rhino and felt the improvement and took my new stock tires/wheels off and put the Bighorns on.

I run the GBC Dirt Devel 2. I do a lot of trail/dirt riding and a lot of rocky hill climbs. I do have muddy areas on my trails. I have not had a problem going anywhere. Check them out, they may be a little lighter on you wallet too. Their tread is far enough apart to dig and clean out when in the mud, but close enough together to give a smooth ride on hard trails.

there is no right, and no wrong, just make a choice and don't loose sleep over it.
Thanks for that pearl of wisdom....
Seriously Spend money , mount them, run them, resell for less, buy more and do all over again...Good advice.
GSH go on youtube or vholdr and try to find videos of guys riding areas with the same terrain you will be. You are gonna get way too many opinions here as everyone rides different terrain and has a different riding style. If you want a good all around tire that doesn't wiegh a ton look into the zillas if = You ride alot of dirt, semi rocky, decent amount of mud and water, want decent ride comfort. If you dont mind the added wieght of radials look into pitbulls first over BH's as everything I have seen on them looks like they do all the BH's will and have better mud capabilities. I know guys running razors on atvs and love them but they dont get through the mud. Maxxis Makes great tires you just have to figure which will suit your terrain better. Good luck.
