I was wondering if any members have done their tires and if so can you post some pix so I can get some ideas on tread patterns?

I am especially interested in tires with large lugs like MudLites, Zillas, ect.

Please post up photos if you have done this mod - Thanks!

Talk to Gunny! He did it, but it seemed to be the ghetto way. Looked good though.

It greatly improves the performance of the tires when climbing over rocks, trees, ect. + supposed to help in mud (as an added mud relief) and supposed to make the tires handle better, smoother.

We'll see..............

Basicly I be converting my MudLite XL's into MudLite SP's with the added groove.

I don't know Gus - Ghetto, Bling, what are you saying......????????

Hey Jack why dont you just get some zillas. The lugs are opened already so you wouldn't need to sipe them. Also do give credit to gunny for this and if it doesn't go right for you dont bust his balls.....

Edit: Jack didn't gunny do that with bighorns? I can see where it could help a solid wide chunk tread but your ML's aren't like that. I dont think it's a good idea on them.

There ain't nothing wrong with ghetto. Looks like he just used a large soldering iron instead of buying a siping machine.

When you use the wrong tool for the job, its ghetto. Don't mean its wrong, just not all fancy schmancy with the proper tool.

Besides, someones gotta stand up to Gunny, I figure were going out to lunch next week so I might as well bust his chops for a bit before we meet and eat!
