Got my new efx motomax tires on.

got the motomax tires on last weekend. size 27x10x12 front and 27x12x12 rears. I rode quite bit last weekend around woods and some fields and they do really good. They hook up in slick trails, and loose dirt in fields that disked up. Handle good at higher speed on dirt trail. they have slight roughness lower than 5 mph but goes away after that. they will climb over rocks and logs good. overall i would say they are a really good aggressive trail/mud tire. i haven't been in good mud yet but in sticky surface mud in a field they kept clean when spinning the tires. Didnt have good mud hole to try them in yet as the field dried up from the weekend before.

Whats the "Make you own mud hole" for. Is it that dry there you need to carry water to make your own mud pit to test out those tires. They look good to.

not quite that but it did up dry from the way one pic where i did wheelie taking off. that area was a big water hole the weekend before

the tank is for hauling maple sap from the woods for making maple syrup.

to show how much it dried up i attached a pic of when it was wet

they do look similar to xtr but have full tread without the break in the v tread. i'm hoping i can put them on backwards in winter and basically have a paddle tire for in the snow.

I know this is an old thread but I wanted to know if there were any updates on the Moto Max tires. I was offered a good deal on some new Moto Max 27's with 14" MSA Nukes for less than $800. Just wanted to know how they have been holding up over the last 18 months.
