If I were you I would go with 28" zillas they would measure same height has the sl. My 27 zillas were the same height as my 26in sl. I wouldn't worry about the weight do the zillas as much as I would about the weight of the rim. That is one thing that is never mentioned.

I would say min 27" if your wanting that size. They are lite and don't rob that much power. Kinda wishing i had the 28's myself but the 27's work very well.

What does big have to do with it if the stock size gets the job done? Stock aluminum are the lightest. Some tires only wegh 14lbs in front and 17 in back and are good and get the job done.

I just don't see how a 27" swamp lite is robbing that much power off a 700.

If you'd like another first hand experience.... I just debated the same thing and ended up going with 26" Zilla's..... I Noticed little to No power difference between them and the stock 25" tires, BUT.... they are the exact same height. I mounted a front and rear Zilla and sat them both with 5 lbs of air beside the stock tires mounted with 5 lbs of air and they were the exact same height. With that being said..... I was not too unhappy because I said from the beginning if they were close to the same height as stock (since I knew they ran short) I would be ok.

On the other hand.....I think the 27's would look a little better. Not sure how much power difference I would feel with 27's, but it would have probably been worth it in my opinion. Then again....I'm on a 550 and your on a 700. I'd go with at least 27's if I were you bud. They run short....up to a full inch short in my experience.

Hope that helps some.

Not that it matters much but I just measured a 28" zilla and it was 25.5 inches. But it wasn't mounted on a rim.
