Sedona Ripsaw R/T Tires

Ok here is my review of the Sedona Ripsaw Tires:

Snow - on a scale of 1 to 10 i'd give them a 7.....dry light snow the tires hooked up really good but dont turn very good, pretty decent control when driving.Wet heavy icy snow i'd rate them a 4 didnt hook up good at all, lousy turning, and quad control well it was all over the place.

Mud - i'd rate them a 10 they hooked like a M'fer, the thick heavy rutted mud they hooked like there was no tomorrow, instead of following the ruts i was able to crawl out of them with ease, the thinner soupier mud they just churned there way through it,i was very impressed with the traction and control these things had in mud.

Dirt - i'd rate them a 10 they hooked up and never let me down once, traction, cornering stopping and climbing is just awesome.

Rocks - i'd rate them a 10 there wasnt a rock or log they wouldnt climb over even the wet ones, these tires are nuthin short of awesome xcept for the snow....LOL and i will buy another set when these wear out.

PS. my son has brand new bighorns on his Grizz and he said they even out performed his bighorns xcept in the snow he killed my ripsaws.
Hope this review helps somebody.

EDIT: These are very heavy tires but I dont expect a flat anytime to soon. They are very thick and beefy. 26x9-12 weighs in at 31.4 lbs. 26x11-12 weighs in at 37.5lbs.

I just picked up a set of these today for my 660 and just by the feel they seem to be better than my mudlites as far as quality. My mudlites were 27" and beside the sedonas in 26" they were actually very close in height. I'm hoping to try them thos weekend.

lol thanks, i was born in the wrong generation and love my older rock.
the guy at my local atv parts place said they had sold six sets of these so far and only had one complaint. it was a fella with a grizzly who said at about 45mph on black top he got a vibration in the handle bars, which i just laughed at. they were ment to be a competitor for the bighorns and for the price id say their gonna give them a run for the money. i paid 450.50 tax and all for mine 26x11x12 and 26x9x12

i just thought id update this a little bit and add to the original review. i got a chance sunday to do a little riding with ripsaws on. i put a little over 30 miles on them, not much but this is just first impressions. on the hard pack trail they handle and corner great with good solid traction. in the mud they clean out better than i expected. they clean much better than a bighorn, and most holes i dipped into had a really soft bottom with a water level up to my ankles. but the ripsaws even in two wheel drive never tried to slip unless i mashed the throttle and good send a pretty good rooster tail. the area they impressed me the most was in the rocky loose uphill climbs. the buddy with me was on an arctic cat 500 doubling with his girl. well they were in 4x4 and just putting up this pretty step climb. me personally with my mudlites id always get a run and maintain a hard pull. with the ripsaws i putted at the same crawl he did while only in two wheel drive and they never once tried to loose traction. this is where the ripsaws really shone and made my mud lites look bad. the only complaint ive had is on the pavement at about 25-30 the front tires wobble pretty good and kick the handle bars back and forth. but i think in time once they get a little worn this will become less noticeable. overall im extremely happy with these tires and am amazed at how well they clean themselves and get killer traction in the loose stuff.

Make sure all your tires are mounted on the rims all the way , i had a real bad wobble at first and here the tire wasnt on the rim the whole way.they are such a heavy and stiff tire these guys that mount them dont even catch it.
