Night Ride Videos
Here is a few vids from our ride tonight. I am noticing that when I watch raw night vids with quicktime viewer they are lit nice. But when uploaded to the vholdr website or youtube they darken considerabley, oh well. We are heading out around noon today so I should have some more vids and pics later tonight.

My last night ride my right headlight went out, then my left head light was intermittent, going in and out every 3 or so ft.. Finally I had to resort to using my red/white/blue strobes (gotta love the those, the whole woods lit up like cops were chasing us).. That was fun, until that darn tree popped out of no where, lol.. I love night rides, sooo much fun trying to figure out what is around the next bend.

In the woods here at night it is like being in a cave unless there is a full moon.

I have piaa replacement bulbs and piaa 510 atps on the handlebars plus backup lights, can see fine. I will try mounting camera closer to lights for next ride to see if it helps.
As I write this I am rendering a vid from todays ride will post as soon as it is done.

Hey Johnny I don't think I ever mentioned but when I rolled my quad into the trees, one of the guys that helped get her down rides a popo 850xp. And I can honestly say the thing is a beast. Everyone here ice races on the lakes and the only thing to beat him was a renegade 800xt. The 850 is huge compared to a grizzly 700.

Right on Butch, we have 2 riders with 850s. Dennis T is thinking about swapping out his Alley Cat for one and even DD and DRK are getting smittened. If I go back to work next Summer, I may get an 850 and give the 550 to Mama.
My BH 2.0s should be here tomorrow.
