Some Gus mountain shots
My south side yard view and my 2007 Christmas present.
My north side yard view
Looking north to Francis Peak shrouded in snow and fog. Home of the Western Air Defense Radar Site.
Arbs Basin. About 40 miles NE of the house and sits at about 9000 feet. My wife gets the Grizz and I get to beat up on the Big Red.
Temple Fork area. About 60 miles NE of the house.
A little one handed riding and video shooting by Arbs Basin.
Mrs. Moose by Arbs Basin. She did not like the idea of me being between her and her calves. SHe ran beside me for about 50 yards when I was on the Grizz. Good pucker factor.

That looks like the knik River and knik Glacier to me. And that's one of the cutest Quad riders ever. My Son lives in Eagle River And was born in Anchorage. Great Pics!!! The Glacier has really receeded in the last 30 years.jmac

Ya, both of Rainier. One from the west side (home) one from the east side. Both, over a hundred miles away. A lot of country here and there, though, riding areas seem to be dimmishing daily. Does not seem right, is not right! Starting to feel old, it seems few remember the days, our rights, our country. I wish I could post more. I think I will. Maybe a little OT will help. This is my country, I will post more!

Ya know JMAC, your right, sad but true. Things are only getting worse around here. Not the same place I grew up. Lets hope we can do something about it, and pray it does'nt spread any further. I don't think it will be much longer before the bear and cats start eating the tree huggers, then maybe reason will again prevail.
