Where's your helmet?
Matter of fact....where is anybody's helmet?

You better get some snorks on that Grizzly yacht of yours otherwise you may be the owner of the titanic!

Muckboy, people in the south don't wear helmets. I have never seen anyone at our atv park with a helmet on, except for a few motorcross guys trying to mud......

Well i'm in NC and i ride everywhere with my helmet, i see more accidents on flat ground in the dirt and mud then i do up in WV on the rocks and hill climbs. It doesn't take but one bad accident to ruin somebody for life sometimes the people not even involved in incidents due to lack of being thick headed.
Not bashing on you Mike T but you know as well as everybody helmet do WORK.

THE EVEL ONE

Keeter they do save your skull but what about your neck. Extra weight from the helment overtaxes neck vertebra. Example: Dale Earnhardt; Remedy: Hans Device. I do have a helment but won't wear it unless required by law. Like old Mike T. said us dumba$$ SOUTHERN REDNECKS don't mess w/no stinkin' helments. Mater of fact I joined the local ABATE CHAPTER years ago to try and abolish unjust helment laws here in NC. Say what you will SC has just as many liscensed riders no helment law and a lower accident death and head injury rate. Independant meaning non-governmental research has proven time and again helments do not decrease the injury rate. Decreased vision and hearing actually increase the accident rate...I'm just sayin" wear it if you want, it's your choice and if needed I certainly hope it prevents injury. I'd like to have my choice also. My skull is thick enough without one.

Southern people don't wear helmets because it impairs your ability to ride and drink beer! You know the Texas motto...... "Hold my beer and watch this!" Seriously, helmets are not necessary at the speeds we ride, it is rare to get over 20 mph in our ATV parks and the vision impairment would be catastrophic with the sheer amount of people that ride in our parks. Ever been in a ATV traffic jam? Come down to Crosby on a Saturday night when there are THOUSANDS of ATV's with NO HELMETS..... The water riding these guys are doing hardly warrants a helmet, they are not made for swimming or meant to be submersed!

LOL! the great helmet debate roars on.....
I say if you are an adult to each his own. Kids though I believe should wear em as they can do some stupid things, especially when they are first learning to ride. I wera a helmet all the time but I am also on trails, woods, mountains. I think if I was just riding a big ole water hole for the day I may even take it off though.

Mike... Sorry but I have to ask... the pictures you show, is that considered riding or are you all taking a break or partying etc??? I guess I just don't get it. I could see everyone trail riding and you come across a water whole and play in it for 5 minutes but do people go to these areas just to play in the water? Or I could see everyone out riding and you all meet there for lnch or a few cold one's... That is always a good time By PA standards many call me a redneck as well but I just don't get it. Maybe PA is too far north to understand

It is all three basically, the top 2 pics are a place we call figure 8, up under Highway 90 bridge. People party there, but is also a place we ride through the water similar to what vamp and his crew are doing. The 3rd is at the "lakes" as it is called and the 4th is at the wet (no) t-shirt contest at redneck games 09. Sorry vamp for highjacking your thread, those are some great pics by the way.
