No thats not right your getting some restriction from the carb. may need to clean it out good and possible rebuild if it's been setting for a period of time.

38 mph is about right for the 450. Like stated before, the 700 will hit the rev limiter in the low 40s. MSD makes the best programmer IMO.

Should have my dynatech cdi and coil Friday will post how it changes machine. thanks guys great fourm wish there was more rhino fans like the grizz forum keep it going.
Well i installed my dynatek cdi and coil tonight for 260 dollars not to impressed seems it's little more snappy but no extra top end just does 39 with out rev limiter kicking in basically.some people say gained 5mph to 10mph I don't see it.for the money could of bought diff accessories have not had it out in mud or climbing maybe that's where the power band will show. Hopefully don't wreck my engine dynatek says shouldn't have no problems.
All it really does is remove the limiters. All motors are different and some will have more power so when the limiters are removed it will unleash the full power of the machine on top end. If your motor is already at it's limits with the CDI then you won't see any change.

hotscrape, don't expect the 450 to be a speed demon.Like Grizzly07 stated 38 is about right for a 450. The 450 is like a little tow truck with its low gearing and will out pull some bigger displacment bikes. Check out the Rhino vids.
