What the OP is pointing out is that it takes little server space to hold PM's, there for its not really costing any extra to allow more PM's. And yet the site is charging you in order to have more.

Vernon: Thank you It takes money guy's you logon for free but some one has to pay the bill. I payed for a lifetime after a month on site because of what this site could do for me. With all the Information I've gotten and all the Friends I've met it was cheap. Think about all the money you blow in a week, what you get out of this site, is worth a little investment on all our parts.

I understand that the text takes up very little space on the server, but I'm thinking they limited it, so you would get discourages and that you would want to opt for the lifetime membership....

I agree that the site has lost a lot of it's morale(sp?) since GS has left!
Rob350 you have well over 1,000 posts and haven't put up a dollar? Even if the place might be slipping a little bit don't you think you owe it something for the information you have retained from here?
Anywho...I don't really care what you guys do but it's just my thinking, that's why I did premium lifetime, not for more pm space but for the information and to support a great site!
Later, Ronnie.....Happy Thanksgiving guys...I won't be on tomorrow!

You need to go to your control panel, and in your porfile turn your PM setting on.

Guys, I haven't left. The Premium Member limit was set at 500 before. I will change it. If they change it back to 100...nothing I can do.
50 PM's is a forum standard and is the default number of stored messages for Registered Members here. Space isn't the issue, database queries and spam are the reasons for the limits I originally set.
Seriously...Premium Memberships are for much more than a bigger mailbox size. Not only does it help support the site, you can save it in discounts from participating sponsors in one shot. Ask around...there are many happy members here.
