New Site Look and Feel

Hello Everyone,

We're proud to announce that the new site look and feel has been completed for GrizzlyCentral.com! Our designers and software engineers have been hard at work on this for several months. It's designed to modernize the site, make it easier to use, and to make it more attractive to new members and guests that visit.

The forum software we use, vBulletin, by default is not designed to be friendly to the eyes or to look modern. We went down to the nuts and bolts of the forum software and templates, and have done a ground up approach. There are several things you will notice now that the new design is live.

1) The site should be significantly faster.

We have applied every modern technique to speed up page load and tested with all modern browsers. We want the forum to be extremely fast and easy to use.

2) The site will work much better in mobile and tablet views

We've started applying responsive design, and have designed and tested against android and iPhone devices, Android tablets, and iPads. If you are sitting at your desk or on your couch, or just on your phone, the site will work much better than it did before, and load fast. We are still working on improving the experience even further in the months to come, but we wanted to launch this as quickly as we could.

3) The homepage is bright, crisp and clean.

We wanted the first page users saw to look beautiful, so that when a new guest arrives and is debating whether to join GrizzlyCentral.com , they see a beautiful doorway, and they walk right in.

4) Garages will be featured on the site

You can show off your rides. You can post pictures in your garage and share it with others. Make sure you post up some images to share with the community.

5) Users will be able to register with Facebook

6) The side bar can be hidden in your user options.

Click on my profile / user cp at the top right.

- click on edit your details on the left.
- Look for Show Sidebar on Forum Pages under Additional Information.
- Click disable and save.

7) Another new great feature is the @Mention user plugin. You can tag members by simply using the @ symbol.

8) Drag and Drop image uploader

We hope you enjoy it, and if you have any questions on the design, please let us know, feedback is appreciated.

If there are any issues you see. Post them up here and we will get them worked out.

Thanks,
- Your GrizzlyCentral.com Team

You will notice some items being added, or moved around as we continue to work on the site and get it finalized.

The site is being worked on, and should be completed by the end of the day.

Thanks!

The Enhanced mobile version is still there, just with a new updated banner.

By regular version do you mean the desktop version of the mobile skin? That is still there, but that look has been updated as well.

Thanks,
- Goose

With the new look, I'm not sure which one I'm looking at now. How do I flip flop between the views. Also, I have a arrow on the right side of my phone screen with an ad. Any way to get rid of that? Maybe in the other view?

Edit: I found the spot to switch views. It's way down at the bottom. Still want to know if I can get rid of that arrow tab with the ad on the right side which is in the full site view. I seem to hit it by accident on my little phone screen. The tab also blocks some text. Kinda a pain in the azzzzzzz.

Can you provide a screenshots of this ad you're looking at?

Also. Which device and browser are you using.

Where does this ad redirect you?

My phone is an iPhone 6s. Browser is safari.

Software version..

Screen shot with tab on right side covering some text..

Screen shot with tab opened (it was blank at that time)...

One ad was for some insurance deal and another was a Yamaha ad. I didn't click on either. Thanks for looking into it!

Mobile version still doesn't show signatures. But at least the full version is better viewing on a mobile device than the old desktop version on mobile and then having to zoom in on everything.

2011 Grizzly 450 EPS
Artrax CTX 26-9-12's all around
on Rock A168 rims
JBS sheave - no shim
18 gram Dr Pulley overdrive sliders
MotionPro twist throttle kit
rear brake lever run in vertical orientation
gripper seat cover
rear fender flares
Champion 3000 lb winch w/ synthetic rope
KFI 48" plow
handlebar mounted light bar
homemade electric plow angle
homemade plow height indicator

2004 Rancher AT
it's finicky and a turd but
i'm not cruel enough to sell it

I'll have to check into this in the morning with the tech department. That ad overlap is odd.

As for the signatures they should be showing in the desktop view but I'll have to double check and do some testing as well.

Thanks for your patience in this.
