i believe there is a small sheet metal mount that you use to mount the contactor

Hmm i dont get it this is a quote from the installation manuel" It is recommended that the contactor be mounted close to thebattery in a clean dry location" and i dont think thats behind the winch on the mounting plate, but maybe i dont understand the manuel correct so please tell if im all wrong....or mayby i have to contact motoralliance so they can fix the manuel.......

Hi Everyone,
Here's the update on the winch mount situation.

1. If you have questions on our contactor installation, please call our technician Kent at 618-675-3775 as he handles all of these kinds of questions. The WARN plate for the Grizzly 700 is the first plate of which I know that supplies a spot for the contactor....which is great! We are going to duplicate this design when we finalize our new plate in mid-July. But contactor installation is pretty flexible so you can talk to Kent about different ideas. He is a better resource than me on technical issues as he's been doing this for 20 years. His website is www.mettlers.biz.

2. In the meantime, we do have new plates for the Grizzly 700 scheduled to arrive today. We produce most of our plates in-house in our own manufacturing wing. But we also have a partner in the industry for when we need help. We have ordered 50 of the Grizzly 700 plates and 50 of the Grizzly 660 plates. They are due to arrive today and we are shipping out about 10 of them to riders who got our old-style plate. Please contact me at peter@motoalliance.com if you had problems with your plate.

Thanks to everyone for all their help! We have got a solution here and this will be resolved for everyone. And GREAT pictures here!
